About Us

Lambert Family Photo We started with a handful of fullblood White Dorper ewes and a White fullblood ram purchased from Mills Family Farms in 2011. We originally purchased these sheep to work our border collies on for training and practice and to build a small flock for our son. As we raised our first lambs we realized how easy the Dorper breed is to keep on our small acreage. As long as adequate grass is available, they don't require daily supplementation to maintain adequate body condition and they lamb with ease. Even though we both had livestock backgrounds and advanced college degrees in Agriculture, we have still had much to learn related to small flock production systems.
Lambert White Dorper Lambs and Ewe

Over the last year, we have added ewes to our flock from top breeders across Texas in order to build a flock that meets our needs. We really enjoy selling to folks that want to start their own small, high quality flock of White Dorpers. We are more than happy to answer any questions you might have and enjoy visiting with folks who are trying to expand their knowledge. Feel free to call or email if you have questions.

Throughout the year, Barry attends trials with his border collies at USBCHA events across Texas. We have Dorper sheep for sale throughout the year and occasionally offer trained Border Collies for use in sheep and goat operations. Please email us or call and let us know what you are looking for. If we don't have what you need, we may know someone who does. We enjoy visiting and meeting with folks to talk about sheep and dogs and will be happy to help you in any way that we can.
